He prodded at the rock.


The thunder boomed outside the cave. The wind howled and lashed. The sky crackled, alit.

“Like us!” he proclaimed, gesturing, standing proud to his family.


And when the thousand inscriptions, scratched onto rocks, parchment and paper were mulched together and made to speak.

He sat, chewing his noonday sandwich, peering over his spectacles.

“Hmm… Like us?” he pondered
